“The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient.” Anne Morrow Lindbergh

Gift from the Sea

My dream is to see a world where we will embrace people who are different from ourselves so that we can learn from cultures all over the world, share our values, and listen to people who disagree.  By listening we show respect, we learn, and we grow. Revisiting our vision and values as we learn keeps us growing and vibrant.  Creating a world where people care about their families, friends, neighbors and communities begins with one person doing something to make a difference.

I believe that we can live in a world that values beauty in all of its shapes and sizes.  We see reality, yet we dream about joys that we never imagined coming into our lives.  I hope that you will join me in creating a network of people who value relationships, and who are willing to spend the time and resources necessary to build positive personal relationships and strong communities.

As a LifeWork Coach, I bring my values and experience to my practice of coaching, community service, presentations, workshops, writing, and professional development.  If you are facing challenges, experiencing transitions, or want to build your network of support systems and relationships in your personal and professional life I would love to talk with you.  Contact me by phone or email to start a conversation.

"I was so impressed with the way you gave me advice specific to the job I was applying for. You helped me single out my skills and qualities, and you taught me how to convey those to the interviewers--this is something that I did not know. It made all of the difference in the way this turned out. Instead of being nervous, I was prepared, calm, and successful! I would recommend you to anyone. Now I feel like I have a new lease on life. You are a wonderful person with exceptional gifts and talents. Thank you, Nancy."Amanda, Career Counselor

"I'm very comfortable with Nancy's coaching style which has been appropriate, on target, and clear. I particularly value how she can bring clarity to the inconsistencies in my own statements about myself. She also has a wealth of life experiences that I can relate to!" Murice, Research Analyst

“The "Color Your Style with Vegetables" warm up activity at the International Career Development Conference was a fun surprise for the participants; a drastic change from the usual lecture-style workshop, and served to get everybody up, moving, and energized.” Carissa, Graduate Student

“It was wonderful to have you visit the LIFT Mentoring Program last week! I think the youth really identified with information. Not only was it insightful, but it was presented very simply and clearly in a way they could understand.  The veggie analogy was FABULOUS.” Jennifer, LIFT Mentoring Program Director
